AWS DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented AWS DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AWS services and DevOps methodologies, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support the deployment and operation of applications.
• Develop automated solutions for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scaling of AWS resources.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability in AWS environments.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, deployments, and application performance.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement measures to safeguard AWS resources and data.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AWS and DevOps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, AWS DevOps tools, Terraform, AWS CDK and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
